Die struck lapel pin normally is made of metal material by metal mold strucking process, it’s a good option to produce a premium badge/lapel pin, because it can present brand image of the enterprise well and Establish the purpose of the association, it’s widely used and popular process.
The widely used material for die struck lapel pin is brass,stainless steel, aluminim, zinc alloy etc. For the fancy and high-end option, it could be pure gold or pure silver.
The precious lapel in is also highly valued for collection or investment, it is getting more and more popular between collectionist.
The shape of die strucking lapel pin can be square, foursquare, round, oval or other special shape.
Die struck pin will be only metal finishing, won’t be so colorful as enamel pins or printed pins however these distinctive metal-on-metal and no color in different plating such as gold, silver, copper etc. or with a two-tone finish that gives any design an elegant look.
The process to produce a strucking pin is cutting mold firstly then struck the metal plate by the mold to shape the designs/patterns on metal, then cut the badge in shape after hand made process like welding nails, polishing, it will be plated then after inspection, a die struck pin is ready.
The process is more simple than enamel pin and time can be quicker, cost also can be more economic. A struck pin can be also multiple different finishing such as gold, silver, nickel, copper, bronze, antique finishing or matte finishing or rainbow or dual plating such as gold+nickel applied on one pin.
